Le Lonjoie

A huge disappointment. We arrived at 12:15 pm on Sunday, a table of five. Three of the dishes were served around 12:50 pm, then we waited 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, and the two missing dishes still hadn't arrived. We pointed this out, and 10 minutes later a waitress came to take our order; it turned out the dishes had been forgotten. We waited another 10 minutes, then 20 minutes, and still nothing. I should mention that we were also with two young children, so the wait was very long for us, but for them too. After an hour, we decided to leave, so two out of the five of us left without eating. At the very least, they would have offered us a discount on the final bill, but that wasn't the case, because yes, that's also part of the restaurant experience. I should point out that the dining room was almost empty and the terrace wasn't full either, so the "staff shortage" excuse lacks credibility. I urge the staff at Lonjoie to reflect more deeply on the principles of customer loyalty and respect; as for us, we won't be returning.

This restaurant is worth a visit despite its somewhat difficult access. The welcome was friendly, and we really enjoyed the daily menu – it was good and plentiful.

The service is very friendly, and I have no doubt that in the summer with the BBQ option, it's a great place for evenings. But on Easter Sunday, it's a bit dreary and needs a good refresh (especially the restrooms). The food is plentiful but not very tasty. A little disappointed, but I'll try again in the warmer months.

Poor value for money. Honestly, you need to reconsider your prices for what's on the plate... It's not bad, the service is professional. But at this price, there are much better places.

The staff were welcoming, helpful, attentive, and friendly. The large dining room meant that even when it was busy, you didn't need to raise your voice to hear each other. The menu was extensive, featuring cuisine from the southwest of France. The dishes were excellent. The duck was cooked perfectly and was tender. The axoa was excellent. A restaurant worth discovering.
