What a shame... a reservation was made and accepted by phone on July 21st for August 25th. Arriving at the restaurant after a long drive only to find out it was closed for vacation from the 25th to August 3rd... My thanks to the restaurant for accommodating us all at the last minute!

This restaurant was a wonderful discovery, offering dishes that were as delicious as they were generous. I had the pleasure of enjoying kidneys of remarkable quality, while my wife savored an equally succulent grilled salmon. And what can I say about the fondant with its molten caramel center, except that it was pure bliss? We particularly appreciated the very warm welcome from the owner. The only downside was the unfriendly and completely unsmiling attitude of the waitress, which was quite regrettable.

Homemade food, Provençal beef, generous portions, warm welcome – when we walked in, we felt like we'd stepped back 50 years – the decor, very kitschy, the music from yesteryear – I highly recommend it 👍

Having been there three times while traveling to Poitiers, I have absolutely no regrets about this discovery. A real gem! The value for money is unbeatable, the portions are generous, and the sauces are truly delicious and 100% homemade.

Love at first sight for this exceptional restaurant. This biker chef, a kind and adventurous soul, is a true icon of both his human and culinary qualities. A truly special moment, suspended in time, the kind you wish you could experience more often. I'll be back. In fact, it's not just a restaurant, but rather an ambush—a gastronomic ambush.

After stumbling upon this little restaurant during a trip to Poitiers, we changed our plans and returned the following evening! The food was absolutely delicious, homemade, the portions were very generous, and the staff were attentive, friendly, and highly professional. I recommend it 100%!

What a wonderful discovery! The food was incredibly homemade and tastes just like home! The chef was adored by both children and adults, and the young servers were simply fantastic! //Perfect for tourists!! Staff speaks very good English// An absolutely fantastic experience! To start, the poached egg in red wine sauce was incredibly fresh with a perfectly balanced sauce. Then, the braised lamb shank was a pure delight; the meat was so tender it practically fell off the bone. All accompanied by superb regional wines. Authentic, generous cuisine and top-notch service. 5 out of 5 stars without hesitation, I highly recommend it!

We ate at the restaurant as a party of three. Two risottos, a lamb shank, French toast, and two gourmet coffees. Very good. Very generous portions. And the price was more than reasonable. I recommend it.

Satisfactory welcome, very pleasant and efficient service, perfect cuisine. I recommend the open-faced sandwich, which is quite generous; those with small appetites should avoid it. The food is excellent and the value for money is perfect. A great find, I highly recommend it.
