La Guinguette Pictave

I had a great experience at the open-air café with some friends. We ate at the crêpe food truck; there wasn't much of a wait, and the three-cheese galette was absolutely delicious. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it :)

The concept is original, the atmosphere is really nice. Perfect for a good time or an evening out.

A place outside the city for a friendly get-together

La Guinguette Pictave is a very pleasant place where you can enjoy delicious food in a friendly atmosphere. The service is warm, the portions are generous, and you'll want to come back.

This place could be nice. The food is expensive and tasteless, and the service is unfriendly. It's a shame, the place has the potential to be much more welcoming.

The Gyrosphare food truck makes excellent falafel and tzatziki; I highly recommend it. Their pitas are also superb!

Great atmosphere. Elliot is very refreshing and Marjane was impeccably welcoming.

The prices are a bit high, but the atmosphere is cool. However, I don't recommend the flagship Gyros location. We ordered a pork and a chicken pita with a small portion of potatoes for €25. We were disappointed. Not only was the cashier grumpy and almost rude, but the potatoes weren't seasoned. When you just put salt on potato wedges, you call them wedges. The pitas themselves were completely tasteless. The meat tasted like it had been steamed, which is why it was so bland. And then there were lots of vegetables but not much sauce, which was also bland. Really disappointed. Greek food is usually full of flavor. Not here. Maybe we just went on a bad day, but I won't be going back.

GYROS PHARE food truck: Very disappointed 👎. July 28th, 8:30 pm, not many people around, so not too much pressure for service. The welcome??? Zero stars! No "Good evening," absolute nonchalance from the young woman taking the order, no smile, no politeness. The food? No better: pita hastily prepared, tasteless, dry bread, same for the salad. To top it off: they forgot my fries; I came back... no apology... they practically threw the bowl on the counter. In short: avoid this place!

We unexpectedly passed through Poitiers due to a car breakdown, and we had a really nice and fun time which cheered us up 😁😁😁
