Avoid this place! The owner is dishonest when it comes to reviews of the beef. I like my meat well-done or medium, but the beef was inedible—far too tough. The fries were frozen, nothing was homemade, and it's far too expensive for food made with frozen ingredients. The children's menu is €9.90 for a ham and fries with ham that was practically pre-packaged, frozen fries, and poor-quality ice cream.

A lovely train-themed brasserie; the dishes are very well prepared and delicious. Impeccable and very pleasant service.

This was our first time at this brasserie, and it certainly won't be our last. The dining room is lovely. We ordered several dishes, and everything was delicious and generous. The desserts were simply divine. The service was impeccable. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

We were very disappointed during our last visit to L'Escale. When it came time to pay the bill (there were eight of us), the owner implied that the last person would have to pay more because of the earlier customers, which was indeed the case, but it was their fault: an extra charge of €1.50 for changing the side dish (just to get pasta instead of fries...) was added (which the person in question hadn't paid because we hadn't been informed of this extra charge when ordering), and a "forgotten" dessert: after checking with everyone present, everyone had paid for their dessert, receipts to prove it. So it was the restaurant that had added an extra dessert that we had to pay for. When we called back 10 minutes after leaving to claim the extra dessert, they wouldn't put us through to the owner, saying they were too busy. In short, we paid €9.50 too much on the total bill, and on top of that, they made us believe it was our fault (poor organization). Therefore, we are very unhappy with our experience. experience in this brewery.

A ridiculously small portion for Bolognese sauce, and of course, Parmesan or Gruyère cheese is extra. Lemon tarte tatin?! 🙁

The food was good and nice, the waitress was pleasant BUT charging me €1.50 extra for cheese on my pasta bolognese because there wasn't any, that's unacceptable!

Stop on the way back. Good food, station-themed decor, competent and smiling staff.
